The world is not fair. I don't think it is but this doesn't affect me. From the moment you realize that the only relevant thing to change your life is you, the situation should start to improve if you really start working on yourself seriously. grow on a personal level Fotolia photo rights What really matters in the business world is who you are and what you do . Without sympathy there are no long-term relationships. If you are not one of the best in your field either. You can fool a few people for a while but never everyone forever. Even if you are a bland guy like me and a beginner in the subject you want to launch into, there is good news. Everything can be improved and you just have to constantly work on your personal skills that help you advance in the professional world. 1. Have empathy : There are certainly people who have more empathy than others. This ability is like a talent because without the need to use words and almost telepathically, one person is able to feel what the other feels. The opposite side are those who in their actions do not think about how a message can reach others. If this is your case, take the time to put yourself in the other person's shoes. What are your interests? Will my offer fit you? Am I hurting your feelings? Do not take any step without asking yourself these and more questions if you are not the most empathetic person in the world. You have to train yourself to develop and improve this ability. 2. Communicate with discipline : it is not just about communicating on time . You also have to be able to send messages between the lines and write an email so that they understand and respond to you. The typical excuse of lack of time means that few people make the effort to understand each other well. Each one interprets a message as it suits him best.
It also depends a lot on your own experiences. It requires discipline to communicate well because you have to take the time to analyze the sentences and messages to achieve a high comprehension ratio and reduce the risk of misinterpretation. The really important things must be told in the first person. 3. Develop your creativity : “I am not a very creative person”. With that phrase for many people the issue is resolved. You still have the consumer email list bad luck of not being lucky enough to be good at generating new ideas. In such a case you play with a small disadvantage but it does not mean that the game is lost. Everything, absolutely everything can be trained. Being creative does not mean being chaotic. Sometimes it may require discipline to enter this innovation process. After 2 years I find it a little easier to find a new idea every day to write a post. Still there are still times where I have to push myself to be creative. As with many things in life it is a matter of getting on with it. 4. Be happy : I'm not saying that this is the easiest because in fact it is not. I am one of those who think that being happy is not free.
It requires constantly making decisions that hurt in the short term but are like an operation that removes the cancer from the unhappiness of your body. No one is happy throughout his life. The difference is that some act and others do not. Happiness is not a status quo. It is enjoying the journey. Both success and failure are only temporary seasons. 5. Organize well : the most valuable thing we have in this world is not the money or the prizes we have won. It is our time because it is very limited. The vast majority of us are not able to organize ourselves well and prolong tasks unnecessarily. There is an organization method based on a book by David Allen called “Getting Things Done” ( “Getting Things Done ” – affiliate link). The goal is to get more things done in less time. It is one of the best known books in this field but it was relatively recently that I came to know about it. Interestingly, on my most effective days I usually follow some of the basic guidelines of the method.
